Nigdel is the Operator of OPL 233 under a subsisting Production Sharing Contract (PSC) arrangement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
OPL 233 is located offshore in the shallow waters of the Niger Delta region, Nigeria, renowned for its prolific endowment of hydrocarbon resources. OPL 233 covers an area of approximately 126 square kilometers on a transitional zone and shallow offshore environment of the Niger Delta, in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State Nigeria.
